Transports are used to send or receive Files across a network, including the internet.

There are two types of Transports;

  • Inbound Transports are used to receive files from remote servers or services into local Statelake File Connections. Architecturally, expectations are that File Connection directories are local to the Statelake server.

  • Outbound Transports are used to send files from local Statelake File Connection directories to remote servers or services. In most cases, this will involve crossing a network boundary. and will involve different protocols.
